Since I've already made several entries about Del, I decided to make this one about my second girl.



Cadence
human, Favoured soul of Malar



Some of the entries are repeating those in the description to her drawing, but I decided to keep those together

1. The girl is unsociable, unemotional, reserved and a bit autistic. Athough she has a name (Cadence), she hardly associates herself with it and almost never responds to it.

2. Her hawk is also called simply 'hawk' - "because that's what he is". As a child, she found him grievously wounded in the wilds. Felt curious rather than sympathetic. But as the bird, even bleeding and nearly dying, tried to claw, peck and fend her off, she felt respect for the creature and took him with her. Healing his wounds was the first time she ever discovered her divine magics.

3. Cadence is 'Chaotic Evil' aligned without any philosophy or reason - she just honestly doesn't understand why it is considered wrong to kill as long as her abilities and/or situation allow her to. 'Survival of the fittiest' in its purest.

4. Despite her looks, Cadence is actually only 16 years old. Guess, it's one of her 'animalistic' traits - she physically matured very quickly.

5. She has little dark-red birthmarks on her back, that look like drops of blood dripping along her spine. Those marks are very similar to those marks Paragon Beasts of Malar have.

6. Right side of her face is severely scarred to the point of appearing disfigured - result of an attack of a lizardman that turned out to be her first ever kill. She furiously refused to have those claw-wounds healed, claiming that 'she has been marked'. The claw of the killed lizardman also became her weapon of choice (although she usually prefers to fight barehand).

7. She met Malar. Several times. At least, she says so Whether or not she has a connection to the deity is unknown, but quite frequently she comments on her own actions with 'He told me to do it', 'He is pleased', 'I disappointed Him' and so on.

8. She does taste blood of those she kills. Even more so, she tends to show inclinations towards 'diversity'. Killing someone of the species she had already killed leaves her unimpressed and even bored.
